Just like the Chevrolet Volt, also there Cadillac ELR 2014 is based on the EREV platform (Extended Range Electric Vehicle), after all, Chevrolet and Cadillac are produced by the same group, so it is not difficult to notice lines similar.

The EREV platform eliminates all worries aboutautonomy: in the configuration of the Cadillac ELR 2014 the configuration was increased to 207 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The 86 hp 1.4-liter petrol engine works in tune with two electric engines and has the task of generating energy. Autonomy times are also considerable: 4 hours and 30 minutes if the car is charged from the classic 240 V socket. Wanting to continue the comparisons with the Chevrolet Volt, the Cadillac ELR 2014 it is equipped with ZF shock absorbers and is equipped with a HiperStut front axle, also the interior embraces luxury, the materials used are leather, vegetable fibers and carbon fibers. The price has not yet been announced but we expect high figures, just think that the classic 2 vol. Cadillac costs 83,000 euros and starts at 50,300 euros!
